The Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin (one of about 80 institutes within the Max Planck Society) is dedicated to the study of human development and education. The interdisciplinary institute hosts researchers from a wide variety of disciplines, including psychology, education, sociology, medicine, history, economics, computer science, philosophy, and mathematics. Their research questions include how people can make effective decisions under real-world conditions, how the interaction between behavior and brain function changes over time, and how human emotions change in a historical context. |
